The El Dorado County Republican Party will host a public reception Monday, June 23 at 6 PM at its headquarters in Cameron Park, featuring Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco as the special guest. The event is part of Bianco’s growing presence on the statewide scene as he explores a run for Governor of California.
Opening remarks will be delivered by Nick Busse, a U.S. Army veteran who served 13 years in the 1st Infantry and 1st Cavalry Divisions. A combat veteran of Iraq with over 200 missions under his leadership, Busse is now a successful businessman and a vocal advocate for California’s veteran community.

Busse says his remarks will focus on the kind of leadership California veterans deserve—emphasizing that those who’ve worn the uniform bring a unique understanding to public service. While not an official endorsement, Busse said his remarks are aimed at helping Sheriff Bianco consider the needs of California’s veterans as part of his campaign vision.
Bianco, known statewide for his tough stance on crime and unapologetically conservative politics, has recently received the endorsement of the El Dorado County Sheriff. The event is free and open to the public.
