The Roseville Moose Lodge is preparing to welcome the community for its 4th annual “Moose for the Troops” event — a long-running local tradition dedicated to supporting the U.S. Armed Forces and the families who stand behind them.
The event will be held on Saturday, December 6th, with a social hour at 5 p.m. and dinner served at 6 p.m. All net proceeds will go directly to the Sacramento Blue Star Moms, a volunteer-driven organization known for sending care packages to deployed service members, supporting veterans in local hospitals, and honoring Gold Star families.
Attendees can expect a classic community evening:
- Live music
- Raffles
- A full dinner featuring smothered pork chops, mashed potatoes, and gravy
- And a chance to connect with neighbors, veterans, and families who have sacrificed for the country.
Tickets cost $30 and will be available beginning October 1st at the Moose Lodge Social Quarters and online at the Sacramento Blue Star Moms website:

Entertainment for the evening will be provided by One Step Down, with the Moose Lodge kitchen offering a comfort-food menu fit for the occasion.
The Sacramento Blue Star Moms continue to be one of the region’s most active military-support organizations, putting together care packages, volunteering at veteran hospitals, and offering year-round assistance to local families with loved ones serving overseas.
Moose Lodge leadership is encouraging the community to come out, enjoy a good meal, and support a mission that directly impacts troops and veterans throughout Northern California.
