Guide to Fourth of July Fireworks Displays in the Sacramento Region 2026

As America celebrates our 250th anniversary, what could be a better occasion than to see fireworks with friends and family?

Several communities across the Sacramento area are hosting public fireworks displays this Independence Day, and you have a wide variety to choose from.

With this many celebrations, you’re sure to find one for you. Here are the major events and viewing locations:

Old Sacramento and Tower Bridge

Location: Old Sacramento riverfront and Tower Bridge area

Time: Fireworks visible after the game at Sutter Health Park (typically after 9:30 p.m.)

Popular free viewing spot with historic backdrop. Fireworks launched from West Sacramento are clearly visible from the riverfront and both sides of the bridge. Arrive early for parking and space.

Elk Grove

Location: Elk Grove Regional Park, 9950 Elk Grove Florin Road

Time: Event starts at 7:00 p.m.; fireworks around 9:30–10:00 p.m.

Food trucks, vendors, live entertainment, and roaming performers.

Folsom

Location: Dan Russell Arena, 200 Stafford Street

Nightly fireworks finales during the Folsom Pro Rodeo (July 2–4) Free viewing available from nearby Folsom Lions City Park.

Galt

Location: Veterans Field, 900 Caroline Avenue, Galt, CA 95632

Time: Gates open at 6:00 p.m.; fireworks at 9:30 p.m.

Live music by North Forty Country.

Rancho Cordova

Location: Hagan Community Park, 2197 Chase Drive

Multi-day event July 3–4; fireworks Saturday evening Includes parade, carnival rides, concerts, and beer garden.

Roseville

Location: The Grounds at Placer County Fairgrounds, 700 Event Center Drive, Roseville, CA 95678

Time: Gates open at 4:00 p.m.; fireworks between 9:15 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.

Family activities, games, and concessions. Seating in the grandstand is first-come, first-served. Parking is $15.

West Sacramento – Sutter Health Park

Location: Sutter Health Park, 400 Ballpark Drive, West Sacramento

Fireworks follow the Athletics vs. Miami Marlins game Same show visible from Old Sacramento and the Tower Bridge.
