Rocklin is getting a dose of big-time Texas country this fall, with the Eli Young Band headed to Quarry Park Amphitheater on Thursday, Oct. 1.
The nationally known country group will take the stage at the downtown Rocklin venue as part of Quarry Park’s 2026 concert series. Doors are scheduled to open at 6 p.m., with the show beginning at 7 p.m.
For a city better known for its family-friendly suburban neighborhoods than stops on the national country music circuit, the appearance gives local fans a chance to see a major country act without making the trek to a larger Sacramento-area venue.
Formed in Texas, the Eli Young Band broke through nationally with a string of hits that became staples of country radio.
Among the band’s best-known songs is “Crazy Girl,” which reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart and was named Song of the Year at the 2012 Academy of Country Music Awards.
The group followed it with another No. 1, “Even If It Breaks Your Heart,” and later scored a major hit with the 2013 single “Drunk Last Night.”
The band has spent roughly 25 years together, building a following that stretches well beyond its Texas roots while maintaining a sound heavily influenced by the state’s country and rock traditions.
Quarry Park Amphitheater, located at 4000 Rocklin Road, has increasingly given South Placer residents an opportunity to catch live music close to home. The outdoor venue sits in the heart of Rocklin and hosts concerts and community events throughout the year.
Tickets for the Eli Young Band show are currently being offered in several tiers.
Front-of-stage admission is listed at $83.34 including fees and taxes, while general admission priority entry is $66.87. General admission lawn tickets are $44.24 including fees and taxes. A four-pack option brings the listed per-ticket price down to $38.06.
The concert is open to all ages.
For Rocklin-area country fans, it amounts to a considerably shorter trip than chasing a touring act into Sacramento or beyond.
And on Oct. 1, they’ll have three pretty good reasons to stick around: “Crazy Girl,” “Even If It Breaks Your Heart” and “Drunk Last Night.”
Tickets and additional information are available through the Quarry Park concert website.
