Country music superstar Carrie Underwood is headed to the Sacramento region this summer, with a scheduled performance at Thunder Valley Casino Resort in Lincoln.
Underwood will take the stage at The Venue at Thunder Valley on Sunday, June 14, 2026 at 7:00 PM, bringing one of the biggest names in modern country to a relatively intimate Northern California setting.
For those unfamiliar (though that’s getting harder to imagine) Underwood rose to fame after winning American Idol in 2005 and has since become one of the most successful country artists of the last two decades. With multiple Grammy Awards, chart-topping hits like Before He Cheats, Jesus, Take the Wheel, and Blown Away, and a reputation for powerhouse live vocals, she’s long been considered one of the genre’s premier performers.
Tickets, however, may give some fans pause.
As of now, the lowest available seats are listed at around $225 (before taxes), with prices climbing significantly higher depending on section and placement . For many local fans, that puts the show firmly in “special occasion” territory rather than a casual night out.
The event is also 21+, though guests aged 13–20 may attend if accompanied by an adult .
Still, for those willing to pay the price, the show offers a chance to see one of country music’s biggest stars in a venue far smaller than the stadiums she often headlines — a rare setup that could make for a more up-close experience.
