70% of Election Day Voters Say NO to Prop 50: Berkeley IGS Poll

By Dean Maddox, Public Safety & Crime Reporter

Seventy percent. That’s how many Election Day voters say they’re voting NO on Prop 50 this November—according to a new Berkeley IGS poll. And that’s got Sacramento’s ruling elite in full-blown panic mode.

Because Prop 50 is their golden ticket. The measure would kill California’s independent redistricting commission and give politicians the power to draw their own districts, and choose their own voters. It’s backed by $120 million in liberal money, including by out of state billionaires.

They say it’s about “saving democracy.” They pretend to clutch their pearls about gerrymandering in Texas. But they never gave a shit about gerrymandering in Democrat-run New England where there’s not one Republican Congressional representative despite being home to millions of Republicans.

What do they really want? They want more more power and more money—with no real accountability.

But that 70% Berkeley poll number? That’s the crack in the armor. That’s the proof voters aren’t buying the lies—and that we can stop them if people show up this Election Day.

Because if they don’t? This passes. And we lose the last sliver of fairness left in California elections.

Tell your people. Show up. Vote NO on Prop 50.
Corrupt politicians are betting big that you’ll stay home.

Prove ’em wrong.
