Spooky season has officially rolled into town, and Sacramentoâs ready to show out.
Kicking off October 1st and running all month long, Old Sacramento Waterfront is transforming into Halloween Town â a month-long celebration packed with photo ops, pop-ups, and pumpkin-laced everything.
This yearâs setup includes:
- A giant 10-foot skeleton selfie station
- A Halloween Tree decked out with lights and decorations
- A âCrawloweenâ bar crawl across Old Sac watering holes
- The return of the Halloween boat parade
- Plus food, drinks, live music, and late-night vibes for the grown folks.
Downtown businesses are getting in the spirit too. Expect spooky storefronts, seasonal bites, and live DJs spinning downtown every weekend. The Sacramento Downtown Partnership is also encouraging locals to show up in costume, tag their photos with #DowntownSac and #OldSacramento, and be part of the scene.
If youâre more pumpkin than party, thereâs plenty for you too. Families can stroll the district and enjoy decor, kid-friendly treats, and daylight events that keep it festive without the fright.
Bottom line? Whether youâre down for a bar crawl in your cowboy boots and zombie makeup, or youâre just here to snap pics with a skeleton and sip a PSL â Downtownâs got something for everyone.
